Sing Up aims to put singing at the heart of every school child’s life by 2011 and it is doing this through a variety of different strategies involving children and all those who are associated with them. There are opportunities for parents, schools, youth groups, vocalists, musicians, workshop leaders and anyone else to get involved.

Sing Up Cumbria provides:
• New local repertoire: Written by local musicians.
• Training: For teachers, young vocal leaders, aspiring vocal leaders and the most experienced voice professionals.
• Links and networks: From Barrow through to Carlisle there are opportunities to share with one another
• News and promotion: Do you want to shout about singing in your community? Are you a vocal leader who needs promoting?
