About Sing Cumbria
Sing Cumbria is administered within SoundWave, a music organisation with the mission statement ‘Transformation Through Music', based in Workington. However, SoundWave delivers Sing Up through the help of strong partnerships with Children’s Services, Cumbria Music Service, Local INSET Networks, The Sage Gateshead, Jilly Jarman, BlueJam and many individuals, groups and schools who are passionate about young people and singing.

Sing Up aims to put singing at the heart of every school child’s life by 2011 and it is doing this through a variety of different strategies involving children and all those who are associated with them. There are opportunities for parents, schools, youth groups, vocalists, musicians, workshop leaders and anyone else to get involved. . More…
