Rocket Journey
This unit revisits and develops children's ability to explore, and use expressively, sounds and changes in pitch. They practise controlling the pitch of voices and instruments and explore ways in which sounds can be changed, combined and organised within a class composition based on a rocket journey.
Children compose and perform in response to the stimulus of a rocket journey, recording their compositions using symbols, pictures and words.
