The Silent Worm

Silent Worm

The unit explores principles of Dalcroze Eurythmics to develop children's awareness of pulse, tempo, rhythmic patterns, phrasing and structure. It uses the on-line story The Silent Worm as a stimulus.

Children learn to sing songs, perform rhythms and recognize and respond to pulse, rhythmic and melodic patterns and phrases through gesture and movement.
